Meet the English Bulldog!
The English Bulldog is not your typical lap dog, though they would like to be. They are affectionate and loyal, and are at their best when treated as a member of the family.
The Bulldog is a medium sized dog that weighs about 55 lbs and stand about 15 inches at the shoulders. The coat is short, smooth and glossy. Shedding occurs with changes in the seasons and is quite common during the spring and fall. They are easily overheated and subject to heat exhaustion. Cool areas out of the heat are a must.

The French Bulldog is known for their clown around demeanor. They are active, intelligent, curious and very interested in everything.
The French bulldog is a small to medium muscular dog of heavy bone. The breed is compactly built. The coat is short and smooth. Their short face does cause their breathing to be less efficient than long nosed breeds. Like the English, the French also require cool areas out of the heat.
